Poly Drivers: Saturday Live offered fun in the sun

A gorgeous, sunny day and lots of helping hands made for success for Poly Drive at this year’s Saturday Live event. The Poly Drive booth hosted Kettle Corn, Bungee Run, Mystery Doors and Coffee/Cocoa/Tea. There were lines all day long, save for the hot drinks given the unseasonably warm temperatures. Next year’s booth will include lemonade, so we’re ready for whatever weather.

Proceeds increased this year, netting $1,930. Miss Vicki will again receive a $100 gift certificate from 360 Office Solutions, the third place prize for ticket pre-sales.

Thanks to the parents and students who stopped in and helped throughout the day.

Big thanks to these businesses that donated or discounted services and supplies: City Brew Coffee, Lave Masonry, Sweet C’s Kettle Corn, and Splat Inflatables.

And huge thanks to these volunteers:
Teachers/staff: Annette Bohn, Renee Wizeman, Amy Sanders, Nicole DelCamp, Tiffany Bell, Katie Tatum, Megan Malia-Edwards, Desiree Caskey, Hannah Monson, Teal Gibson, Tanna Schaff, John Bunderson, Bob Knight, Cici Kelling, Cindy Stubbs, Ashley & Ryan Hall, Jenny Walker, Ursula Richter, Kally Dreikosen.

And if you were in the park that day and came to support our booth  – thank you!

Poly Drivers: Saturday Live a smashing success

What a beautiful day for this year’s Saturday Live! Our Poly Drive booth provided plenty of variety and fun with Mystery Doors, Bungee Run, City Brew Coffee and Sweet C’s Kettle Corn. Coffee and kettle corn were both new additions for us this year and each was wildly successful! The total amount raised by our school was $1,930 – just about double last year’s total! We also won second place in the pre-ticket sales contest for which we received $150 in gift certificates at 360 Office Solutions. These will be gratefully used by Miss Vicki.

We would like to thank the following local businesses/individuals for donating products which kept our costs down and allows more money to stay at Poly Drive: Sweet C’s Kettle Corn, City Brew Coffee, Wendy’s, Johnny Carino’s, Sam & Louies, Straw Hat, Lave Masonry, Allegra Printing, Annette Patterson & the Hepp family.

In addition, we could not pull this event off without the help of many volunteers, so many thanks go to:
Parents: Mary Lave, Tori & Craig Hepp, Annette Patterson, Henry Morgan, Krissy Yerger, Shannon Westerman, Michelle Breum, Kori Caudill, Kevin Stubbs, Amy Sanders, Renee Janhunen, Ann Brucker, Nicole Benge.

Teachers: Desiree Caskey, Teal Gibson, Katie Tatum, Becca Egan, Tanna Schaff (+John Bunderson & Bob Knight).

Students: Shane Mullowney, Laurin Patterson, Anne Morgan, Malikye, Grace Hepp, Angelo, Hunter Brown, Luke & Hailey Breum, Dacee Zent, Bayles DeVries, Karter Binstock, Julia & Destiny Lave, Kaylee Stubbs, Ava Grubbs, Jack Rentz, Katherine Sanders, Alyvia S, Anna Whitney, Jessica Morgan, Annika Rickbeil, Sydney Sivertson.

And lastly, if you were in the park that day and came to support our booth – thank you!
