Butter Braids 2016: a delicious Poly Drive tradition with sweet rewards

The annual Butter Braid fundraiser will soon begin. Order forms and instructions are coming Nov. 18. Last year $5,100 was raised through the Butter Braid Fundraiser, with proceeds going toward PTA programs like the STEM Day, field trips, playground bumpers, Spanish Club and more.

Here’s a FAQ on the fundraiser.

What’s a butter braid?
A butter braid is frozen pastry dough, made with 100% real butter, giving them a rich, homemade taste. There are different filling flavors: Apple, Bavarian Crème, Blueberry & Cream Cheese, Cherry, Cinnamon, Raspberry, Strawberry & Cream Cheese, and Double Chocolate.

They arrive frozen and can be stored for up to six months.

To use them, set on the counter the night before baking and then in the oven for 25-30 minutes, cool, and drizzle with icing for a delicious and beautiful treat.

You can see them at http://www.butterbraid.com.

How much is a butter braid?
They are sold for $14 each. Profits will go toward PTA initiatives.
