March Madness just weeks away

Mark your calendars for Friday, March 31 – the Poly Drive March Madness night. The fun will go from 5:30-8 p.m.

Poly Drive will be transformed into a carnival, with games, prizes, a decadent dessert auction, food & drinks for the whole family.

Proceeds from the evening will go toward STEM efforts at Poly.

A decadent dessert auction is new this year. It replaces the classroom basket silent auction. All bakers and dessert enthusiasts are invited to make an upscale dessert for the auction, or may purchase and donate one instead. Desserts need to be delivered to the school by noon on March 31. To donate a dessert, contact Heather Hughes.

Students can put their spare change toward the Dino-ize Croff effort. If enough money is collected, Principal Croff will appear as a dinosaur at the event. Money will be collected beginning the week of March 20.

Wristbands will be sold again this year. The wristband allows unlimited access to games during the carnival. Each classroom will feature a different game. Tickets are won, and players can then trade in their tickets for great treasures in the prize room.

Room parents soon will request parent volunteers to help run the games. But don’t wait to be contacted. You can reach out to your room parent and sign up for the time that works best for you.

Families are also asked to consider donating a movie-size box of candy for the candy walk game. Candy will be collected in the classrooms.

To join the committee or for more information, please contact chairperson Briana Bergeron.

Look for flyers on the Dino-ize Croff effort and wristband sales in future Wednesday Watch envelopes.

We look forward to a fabulous evening at Poly!
