Poly Drivers: STEM takes Poly by storm

This spring, over 60 parent, teacher and community volunteers came together to host our first Poly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Day. On a sunny April day, 115 kids learned about local bird tracking, soil composition, bugs found in our area, technology in our own library and robotics. We watched in awe as the LifeFlight Medical Team landed their helicopter on our playground, stayed the day to share their knowledge, and took off as parents arrived for their students. What a day, what a school and what a great group of people making the day happen. Thanks to all!

Special thanks to school nurses Melissa Archilla and Debbie Davis. And thank you to parent volunteers Caroline Chviliek, Robyn Willett, Amber Erlenbusch, and Jon and Jessica Peel.
